Products are increasingly digitized, automated and connected. That increases the need for electric and electronic components. But Danish companies are increasingly faced with supply chain challenges: Whether it is longer lead times; problems with logistics and increasing transportation costs; quality standards or sustainability concerns. The problems are growing, and solutions difficult to come by.

That is why The Trade Council and Dansk Erhverv are jointly organizing a “sourcing promotion” trip to Turkey in May 2022. The visit is a help to Danish companies looking to find new suppliers of the electric and electronic components they increasingly rely on – and urgently need.

Turkish suppliers are located around Istanbul and the Marmara region. We therefore bring you to Istanbul to meet suppliers identified with our local partner TET – the Turkish Electro Technology Exporters’ Association (TET). We will match you with some of the thousands of local manufacturers of the component types you are looking for. From control units, circuits and control boards, over electronic control and display units to fan units, infrared control units, motor accessories, timers, tuners, cables and everything in between.

You Should Participate If You:

  • have an interest in establishing contacts to new, sustainable suppliers with short lead times that are flexible on order sizes.
  • see an interest in working with suppliers that you can visit within three hours of flight, only have a 1-2 hour time difference with Denmark.
  • value sustainability and see a point in ensuring the social and environmental impact of the production of your products.
  • need flexible logistics options that include both air, sea and rail and not have to worry about customs due to a EU-Turkey Customs Union.
