As part of the EU Recovery Plan to kick-start European economies after the corona-pandemic, Italy has been allocated 222 billion euros, of which almost 5 billion euro has been allocated to investments in creating a more sustainable agriculture and food production.

The large Italian investments represent a business opportunity for Danish companies within a sprawling biosolutions ecosystem. This is the reason, why the Danish Chamber of Commerce (Dansk Erhverv) and the Danish Food & Agriculture Council (Landbrug & Fødevarer) together with the Danish embassy in Rome are organizing a Danish biosolutions export delegation to Italy on 12-14 October 2022. 

The export delegation will focus on key components in the Italian recovery plan of special relevance to Danish biosolution companies, including alternative solutions to artificial substances used for food production, the need for an increase in the use of alternative raw materials and by-products, the need to fight anti-microbial resistance by limiting the use of veterinary drugs and a more sustainable approach to animal feed. The delegation will engage both with Italian decision-makers, potential Italian buyers, Italian business organizations and EFSA (The European Food Safety Agency) and meet with key Italian interlocutors in both Rome, Milano, and Parma.

PRICE
The total price for participation in the delegation to Italy for Danish biosolutions companies is 12,000 DKK excl. flight, hotel and VAT per company for 2 representatives. Extra representative 1,500 DKK per person.

NOTE: Invoice will always be issued in DKK to the Danish company address.

Should this result in a higher price than quoted, you have the right to cancel your participation. Other expenses not mentioned above are at own expense including visa, flights, dining & drinking and hotel.

HOTEL AND TRAVEL INFORMATION
The participation fee of 12,000 DKK includes local transportation by train to the three destinations mentioned in the programme as well as the networking dinners, but airfare to Italy and accommodation in Italy is not included. A cost-efficient travel package will be recommended to participants by the travel agency BCD.
