Masterclass AI Risk Management Academy
The Masterclass AI Risk Management Academy is for professionals conducting AI risk assessments, such as risk managers and AI developers. Also requiring the six core classes, this class covers AI risk assessment methods, prioritizing risks, and applying assessments to various models, with hands-on experience in risk registers and treatment plans.
These Master Classes offer comprehensive training for effectively managing and assessing AI risks.
The entire course will be taught in English.

Target audience description
The Masterclass program is designed for senior professionals in risk management and governance. It is ideal for AI Risk Officers responsible for developing risk strategies and ensuring compliance, and for professionals conducting AI risk assessments and creating risk treatment plans. Completion of all six Core Classes is required. This program provides the skills to effectively manage and mitigate AI risks within organizations.

Master Class 1: The Chief AI Risk Officer (CAIRO)
Target Audience:
This Master Class is designed for senior professionals who will be responsible for overseeing and managing AI risk within their organizations. This could include Chief Risk Officers (CROs), Chief Technology Officers (CTOs), Chief Data Officers (CDOs), or AI program leaders.
Prerequisites:
- Completion of all six core classes (Classes 1-6) offered by the AI Risk Management Academy is required. These core classes provide foundational knowledge in key AI risk management areas, including:
- The AI regulatory landscape
- AI governance and risk management readiness
- Fairness, explainability, security, safety, and privacy risks in AI
- Reliability, performance, and robustness of AI systems
- Conformity assessments and audit readiness for AI systems
Master Class Description:
This Master Class delves into the critical role of the Chief AI Risk Officer (CAIRO) within an organization. Attendees will gain a comprehensive understanding of the CAIRO’s responsibilities, including:
- Developing and implementing an enterprise-wide AI risk management strategy.
- Overseeing the identification, assessment, and mitigation of AI risks.
- Establishing a robust AI governance framework.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant AI regulations.

- Completion of all six core classes (Classes 1-6) offered by the AI Risk Management Academy is required.
- These core classes provide foundational knowledge in key AI risk management areas, as specified in the prerequisites for Master Class 1.
Master Class Description:
This Master Class provides practical guidance on conducting effective AI risk assessments. Attendees will learn about the different types of AI risk assessments and how to select the appropriate methodology for their specific needs. The class will cover key considerations for identifying, assessing, and prioritizing AI risks in a group setting.
The Master Class will also explore real-world use cases for applying risk assessments to different types of AI models, including high-risk models and Large Language Models (LLMs). Attendees will gain hands-on experience using a risk register to document identified AI risks and develop risk treatment plans.
