The course covers the rules and key considerations relating to the notification of holiday with particular focus on holiday during the notice period, including situations involving garden leave. The course also addresses the possibilities for agreeing on the taking of holiday as part of a severance agreement. 

The course begins with an introduction to the basic rules on holiday accrual, holiday periods, holiday hindrance, and the main rules on notification. The course will then predominantly be case based, giving participants a thorough and practical understanding of how the rules are applied in practice.
