Subsea Security - From National Vulnerabilities to International Solutions
Subsea Security - From National Vulnerabilities to International Solutions
Europe’s security environment has deteriorated significantly, placing critical subsea infrastructure under increasing pressure. These assets are vital to the functioning of modern societies, yet they face a more complex and severe threat landscape than previously recognised. These challenges are not unique to Denmark but shared across Europe and beyond.
Against this backdrop, the Danish Chamber of Commerce and Danish Maritime, invites you to an international conference focused on knowledge sharing and cross-national experience on subsea security.
The conference brings together international partners, Danish companies, researchers and the Danish Armed Forces to discuss how cooperation between authorities, defence and industry can strengthen protection, surveillance and preparedness - in Denmark and internationally. Through presentations and case studies from international collaborations involving Danish technology and expertise, participants will exchange insights to support future efforts.
This year marks the fourth conference on subsea security. Building on strong national dialogue from previous events, the ambition is now to further expand the international perspective. The shared goal is secure waters – both on and below the surface.
The programme is not final and may be subject to change.
