Gastro- and Foodtech competition for startups 2022

Startups can now apply for the possibility to pitch, when Basque Culinary Center’s event ‘On the Road’ comes to Denmark in November 2022. The Danish winner gets the opportunity to attend the incubator program at Basque Culinary Center.

Danish Startup Group, Basque Culinary Center, Dansk Gastronomisk Union, Danish Chamber of Commerce and more, are again this year, looking for the best Danish startups within gastro- and foodtech, to be part of the competition ‘On The Road’, with the opportunity to attend the incubator program at Basque Culinary Center.

Applications from gastro- or foodtech startups who wants to pitch at the event in Copenhagen is currently open. The event takes place on 22 November at Danish Chamber of Commerce (Dansk Erhverv) in the Old Stock Exchange.

A panel will determine which of the participants in the Danish competition that will compete in the international competition and represent the best of the best in gastro- and foodtech startups that Denmark have to offer.

Denmark is one of the leading countries when it comes to food industries, this is mainly possible because of the innovations that startups keep providing in this field. It is important that we keep innovating, so Denmark can be the best place to startup gastro- and foodtech businesses.

Why should you participate?

  • The winner will receive a paid stay at an incubator program at Basque Culinary Center in Spain of a value of 22.000 DKK
  • The winner will compete against the winners of the other competitions in Europe.
  • The winner will get a chance to meet and network with influential people from around the food industry in Denmark
