On August 27 and 28, you will be able to meet us at this years biggest tech-startup event in the nordics, TechBBQ.

On August 27 and 28, Copenhagen transforms into a buzzing hotspot for innovation as TechBBQ - Scandinavia’s largest tech and startup conference - attracts thousands of entrepreneurs, investors, and other stakeholders from around the world. This year, the Danish Chamber of Commerce is partnering with Women in Tech on a dedicated lounge - Inspire Diversity Lounge - which can be found in are E.1 at TechBBQ. You will also be able to find us in the Policy Lounge alongside Danske Iværksættere.

Wednesday, august 27th 

13:00 – 13:40: Talk and Q&A on EUs competitiveness with Minister of European competitiveness of Denmark (Policy Lounge - Room 5, 6, 7)

We have invited the Danish Europe Minister Marie Bjerre for a conversation with Nikolaj Juncher Wædegaard, Senior VIce President at The Danish Chamber of Commerce about Europe’s competitiveness in a time marked by an intensifying tech race.

 

14:00 – 14:30: Denmark’s dream of leading in AI with Dansk Erhverv (E.1)

Are we doing enough to educate, attract, and retain AI talent in Denmark? Where in organizations is the shortage of AI talent most critical, and what can we do to fill these gaps?  We’ll explore not only the need for skills but also how diversity plays a key role in building stronger AI teams. Together with some of Denmark’s largest tech companies, we’ll discuss how they work to attract talent and integrate diversity into their organizations, and what it will take for Denmark to truly lead in AI.

16:00 – 16:30: Panel: Live podcast session by Dansk Erhverv and Women in Tech (E.1)

In collaboration with Women in Tech, Dansk Erhverv and supported by Industriens Fond, we are launching a live podcast episode exploring entrepreneurship and technology while zooming in on key topics like Cyber and AI with expert guests. With a mix of honest confessions, fresh insights, humor, and personal stories, we make technology digestible for those who are tired of buzzwords, but still want to understand and influence the world we live in.

16:30 – 18:00: Networking session and launch of the Inspiring Diversity Network (E.1)

On Wednesday afternoon, we are excited to launch the Inspiring Diversity Network – a new community for entrepreneurs, advisors, and tech professionals. The mission is clear: to strengthen diversity in entrepreneurship. The network is a collaboration between Dansk Erhverv, Women in Tech, and InTech Founders, with support from Industriens Fond. The launch will be opened by Freja Brandhøj and Drita Memisi, followed by a keynote from Soulaima Gourani, who will share her inspiring journey from Denmark to Austin and Palo Alto – navigating the ups and downs of entrepreneurship. We will round off the afternoon with drinks and networking.

Drop by our lounge activity for an informal chat with one of several experienced export advisors from selected tech markets. The focus is on sparring and inspiration and the advisors are ready to answer all your questions with a deep professional insight.
